Treyarch, the guys behind most of the Call of Duty games, has very recently announced the first details regarding the Zombie mode from the next entry in their most popular franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
They have revealed that the new undead co-op survival mode will be named “Shadows of Evil”, and that, unlike the single-player campaign, this mode will be set in the past, more precisely in the 1940s.
Treyarch has also confirmed that this zombie mode will incorporate era-appropriate weapons but also new and frenetic weapons, just like a rocket-powered riot shield.
The map’s trailer also shows candy machines that will provide many varieties of candies to players, each with its own effect.
Shadow of Evil will also include the award-winning actors Jeff Goldblum, Heather Graham, Neal McDonough, Ron Perlman and Robert Picardo, which will act as the main villain, The Shadow Man.
Der Riese, one of the oldest zombie maps in the call of Duty franchise, will get its own remake in Black Ops 3’s, though Treyarch plans to change the name to “The Giant”.
This map will only be available to all those who preorder the game.
