It’s been more than ten years since we last wandered through Silent Hill’s oppressive mist. Now, with Silent Hill f creeping onto our radars, that long stretch of silence is about to shatter. This isn’t just another remake or spin-off—it’s the first full-sized entry since 2012’s Downpour, and it’s set against the eerie backdrop of 20th century rural Japan.
A while ago, the English voice actors cast was unveiled; make sure you check it here.
Mark Your Calendars for a Foggy Reunion
Silent Hill f emerges from the shadows on September 25, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. If you’ve already sprung for the deluxe edition, you’ll actually get to wander those haunted fields 48 hours early, on September 23. There’s something thrilling—if slightly nerve-racking—about an early taste of a game that has so many unknowns. Will it live up to the legacy? We’ll find out sooner than most.
Midnight launch hype is real here. On consoles, the main release unlocks at 12:00 am EDT on the 25th. But don’t let your timezone lull you into thinking you get a free pass to sleep in.
When the Clock Strikes Midnight
Konami’s sticking with the classic “midnight roll” for each region. That means as the clock flips to 00:00 in each easternmost zone, the game goes live.
- In New York, you’ll be storming through Silent Hill f at midnight on the 25th.
- On the U.S. West Coast, that’s 9 pm PDT on the 24th—prime Friday evening chills.
- And in New Zealand, you’re up even earlier, hitting that midnight mark a full 16 hours before New York.
For the deluxe edition holders, your digital bonus drop also arrives exactly at midnight—two days ahead of the rest. As of now, we’re still waiting on precise timestamps for the PC launch. Fingers crossed it syncs up or maybe even surprises us with an early reveal.
Which Versions Haunt Your Wallet?
Here’s the quick lowdown on pricing and what you actually get:
- Standard Edition – $69.99; just the base game, nothing extra. Perfect if you want the core scare-fest without frills.
- Deluxe Edition – $79.99; it tacks on a digital artbook, a pared-down mini-soundtrack, and—somewhat oddly—a pink rabbit costume.
That pink bunny outfit kind of makes you scratch your head. Is it tone-deaf or genius? Personally, I’m betting it’ll be a goofy highlight when you least expect it.
Silent Hill f might be the most mysterious entry in years, but Konami is laying out the essentials: when, how, and for how much. Now all that’s left is for us to dive in, flashlights in hand (or bunny ears perched jauntily), and see if this Japanese-set nightmare rekindles the franchise’s spine-tingling magic.
