Pre-orders revved up on September 18 when you could lock in your copy of NASCAR 25 on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5. That very moment, we saw raw, unedited gameplay—no cinematic smoke and mirrors. It felt like peeking under the hood, building hype.
So when do we actually strap in? Console racers, NASCAR 25 will be released on October 14. Your couch might as well be a bucket seat by then. PC drivers, brace yourselves: you’ll be burning rubber.
Editions and Extras
There are special editions, each with names that sound expensive—and they are. Pay an extra $20 and you get a shiny new livery for your ride in NASCAR 25. It’s like paying for gold-label water. Same flavor, fancier packaging. Do you really need it? Maybe. I’ll admit, a custom look can be addictive.
Feel vs. Features
There’s chatter about whether NASCAR 25 is a hardcore sim or a laid-back simcade. Personally, I want responsive handling, AI that’s not driving like it’s late for another gig, and wheel support that keeps my thumbs from feeling like overcooked noodles. If it nails those basics, I’m sold.
