The wait is almost over! Coming out October 30th, Assassin’s Creed 3 is shaping up to be a wholly exciting entry in the well-loved series. Fans all around the world who have been waiting for its third instalment are in a hurry to buy and play the game. Its new protagonist, gameplay additions, and enhanced multiplayer experience mean there’s something for every fan here. The question, though, is whether it will be as revolutionary as the first title, just like Assassin’s Creed II was.
A Fresh Take on Single-Player
The single-player mode is getting some massive upgrades. First, guns will play a bigger role in combat. That makes sense, considering the game is set during the American Revolution. You’ll step into the shoes of Connor, the new protagonist, who is pulled into the conflict after British soldiers attack his home.
Expect to meet historical icons like George Washington, Samuel Adams, and Benjamin Franklin. These characters will bring a deeper connection to the era, adding more layers to the story.
Assassin’s Creed 3 Exciting New Features
Combat has levelled up in big ways. Dual-wielding makes its debut, letting you use two weapons at once. Guns, along with this feature, have brought changes to the combat system, making it more dynamic.
Free-running has also improved. You can now navigate through buildings and even run along tree branches. It’s a small detail, but it makes moving through the game’s world feel more fluid and immersive.
Naval Warfare: A Game-Changer
Among the most exciting features is naval warfare. As Connor, you will command your own ship and battle other ships upon the high seas. The visuals are on point, especially when naval battles heat up. You can practically see the chaos as your crew fights to control the ship amidst a hail of enemy fire. Navigating your ride through stormy seas seem daunting but exhilarating.
Multiplayer Gets Better
Online play is back and better than ever. When it launches, you will have around a dozen different modes available to play—an improvement over Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Also, for the first time you can play as a female in multiplayer. A nifty nod to female gamers seeking further representation.
Final Thoughts on Assassin’s Creed 3
All in all, Assassin’s Creed 3 is looking like the series’ best — and it was already into some pretty stiff competition. These introduce sharp novelty, from refined combat systems to naval engagements. Being a long-time fan, I am eager to experience it all.
The good news is, if you are as excited as I am about it — you won’t have to wait long. Put a flag on your calendar: October 30th is Assassin’s Creed 3.
