Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition Confirmed for Xbox—Watch the New Trailer

Rogue Incursion Evolved Hits Xbox

The Alien universe is buzzing again. After the thrill of 2024’s Alien: Romulus and the freshly dropped Alien: Earth series, it felt only natural for videogames to creep back into the spotlight. Enter Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition—once a VR-only bloodfest, now heading to Xbox Series X|S on September 30. Finally, no headset tether required.

From VR Specialist to Console Predator

Remember when Rogue Incursion first stumbled onto headsets last year? I did too—groping around in virtual corridors, heart hammering at every screech. But the Xbox announcement trailer, unveiled two weeks before launch, dropped the mic: a last-minute deal means non-VR players can dive straight into the Xenomorph frenzy. Pretty cool move by 20th Century Studios, right? And honestly, scaling this claustrophobic nightmare for a controller might even feel stranger than VR.

Marine Mayhem with Zula Hendricks

Our heroine isn’t just another space soldier. Zula Hendricks, plucked straight from Dark Horse Comics’ Aliens: Defiance, bounces into Rogue Incursion with attitude—and enough firepower to make anyone giddy. Hundreds of Xenomorphs. Thousands of bullets. More grenades than you can count. Explosives? Yes, please. Facehugs without a headset might be less stomach-churning, but let’s not downplay the scares. This is survival horror—so if you’re fainthearted, maybe stick to the movies.

Shadows of Weyland-Yutani

Plotwise, we’re on Purdan, a planet that screams “black-site experiments” by that ever-scheming Weyland-Yutani. The trailer teases beefed-up Xenos—bigger, meaner breeds lurking in unlit vent shafts. What else is hiding in those shadows? We’re all waiting on ‘Part Two’ to flesh out the full saga.

At around nine hours for Part One and a $29.99 price tag, this feels just right—a lean slice of sci-fi dread. Will you suit up when the Evolved Edition lands on Xbox?
