YouTube Gaming Clips: This Week On Episode 2 “Accessories”

This Week On

Dear fans, welcome back to “This Week On”! The YouTube series that brings together the three best epic, funny, and fail clips from gamers around the internet! Whether it makes you laugh-out-loud or face-palm, there’s nothing better than watching a funny meme or amazing gameplay.

This week is all about Accessories! From knives in Modern Warfare to grappling guns in Apex Legends, this week’s clips are all about what tool you use to grab the victory or die trying.

Let’s break down the clips together and vote which one you think is best!

da’ haus

To start off this week, the 90’s are in “da’ haus” because we’re talking fanny packs…and if fanny packs are cool again, consider me Miles Davis. Our first clip is in Modern Warfare, which they should change to “Fashion Warfare” because our player’s fanny is strapped and packed so equatorially he’s like Clark Griswold at Walley World. Our packer-in-chief racks up 11 consecutive knife kills back-to-back. He’s got so many knives packed away, he could play for the Green Bay Packers. Consider him the PACKman Jones of Modern Warfare, however his momentum flames out quickly as he’s finally shot dead — but talk about going out in a blaze of glory.

Next up, our second clip is Fortnight. Our player’s got his opponent cornered behind the bannister of a stately blue Victorian home. He gets in a few shots through the window, when he decides his assault rifle is not enough firepower. Why not bring out the BIG guns? So out of his pack comes an RPG! With a quick reload, he’s confident in his assured victory over his prey when — BOOM — he’s killed by the explosive backlash of an unperturbed teapot lying casually on the table. Safe to say our Victorian window creeper is no longer in the finest of fettle. Time to pack-up and move back to the lobby!

Apex Legends

Our third and last clip is in Apex Legends. With loot inbound, our overconfident Pathfinder sends out his grappling hook like Batman escaping into the night. He’s sent flying at Mach 10 in an attempt to beat his teammates to the destination. As he’s careening towards his prize, he linedrives face first into the descending loot drop. SMACK! Game over! Should have thought that one through.

YouTube Gaming Clips: This Week On Episode 1 “Disrespect”

Gaming Clips

Dear fans, we found a series of Youtube gaming clips that you may want to watch. This series is called “This Week On”! With all of us working from home, who doesn’t love passing the time by watching awesome gaming clips? Whether it makes you laugh-out-loud or face-palm, there’s nothing better than a great epic or funny clip.

Thankfully the YouTube series “This Week On” has done the hard work for us, and scoured the internet for some of the best epic, funny, and fail moments. This week’s theme is all about Disrespect. Will the hammer of gaming justice come down swift and heavy?

Let’s break down the clips together and vote which one you think is best!

First Clip – Apex Legends

To start off, our first clip is in Apex Legends. In that moment you’ve been shot down, the last thing you’d want to shake hands with a live explosive. Rather than finish his downed opponent the conventional way, our clip player throws a grenade into the air like he’s trying to land shoes on a 1980’s Brooklyn power line. Instead of hanging those Jordans for the whole hood to see, our amateur bombardier lands some ordinance directly on his opponent’s head. Grenade 1, head 0!

Second Clip – Fortnight

Our second clip is in Fortnight. We’re all familiar with rocket rides, but these guys take it to a whole new level with a DOUBLE rocket ride, using a bottle rocket to an RPG. While sailing away on a solo journey into space, our virtual vixen grabs the “Victory Royale” with an amazing sniper kill on the remaining enemy. Taking a sniper shot to the noggin is generally painful enough, but to be killed from a moving rocket? Too good. So unnecessary, yet so satisfying!

Third Clip – Fortnight

Our third clip is also in Fortnight. Our pumpkin-headed protagonist, aware of another player in a nearby shed, drops down a spike trap to remove the player-pest hiding within. In his immense confidence and with incredible timing, he dabs at the precise moment of the other player’s death. In that moment, our pumpkin-player gleefully rushes into the shed to look through his newfound weapons cache, when BOOM — he’s killed by a trap waiting for him on the ceiling. Fortnight? More like Foresight!

Youtube’s Gaming Channel Just Around the Corner!

Youtube's Gaming Channel Just Around the Corner

The Gaming market on Youtube is definitely a big one! It’s one of the biggest Niches out there and it claims that hundreds of millions of gamers are posting their content right on the site. People are spending billions of hours (total) watching these videos. Over half of the top 100 Youtube channels are gaming channels! Needless to say there is a big spot for this market.

Popular Youtuber ashens, best known for his series of comedy sketches focused on showing off various cheap and bootleg merchandise, made a strange discovery while browsing his local charity shop back in 2012.  What was clearly packaged in a fake Playstation 2 game box turned out to be an alpha build of a game that was never finished nor released.  It wasn’t until ashens had a recent conversation with the people behind fellow Youtube channel DidYouKnowGaming that he realized exactly what he had.

It has announced that they will be releasing a new gaming app and gaming website that will launch later this summer to cater to the needs of the millions of gamers out there. This was a great time to announce this project since E3 just happened and Youtube was on the floor live streaming the whole thing. They showed beta versions of their app on the floor at E3.

The Reason Google aims to do this is to engage more with gamers while boosting involvement and ad revenue. You can check it out and sign up for updates here.
