While there was no conspicuous news regarding the intimate title, the official Call of Duty account teased a “dark new chapter.” This teaser connects to the Black Ops franchise. In the post, there was also a short clip showing a group of people vandalizing Mount Rushmore. Some of the reliable fan pages of Call of Duty are also hinting at a glimpse of emblems, some of which are quite old. Moreover, the fan posts feature an image where the word “Gulf” is inscribed. This suggests that Black Ops 6 will take place during the events of the rumored Gulf War.

At the moment there is no concrete news that backs the rumors or gives fans too much to go on. However, the complete dive of the game is coming on Sunday, June 9th, 2024. And that is when Xbox Games Showcase will take place. While it’s not frankly clear, Activision has publicly stated that they have no plans for releasing the games on previous gen-consoles. It will be exclusive to last-gen consoles.

Similar to its predecessors, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 promises to deliver. From intense action, and gripping storytelling, to thrilling multiplayer modes that exploit the adventure and third-person shooter elements. Prior to Black Ops 6’s release date, the official video trailer will reveal more about the gameplay, and additional contents of the game. It will showcase diversity, visual fidelity, and dynamic gameplay. Nevertheless, the release is not too distant from now, it might hit online stores by the fall of 2024.
