Tormented Souls 2 Drops This October—Here’s Why You Should Be Excited

Tormented Souls 2 Arrives This October

Survival horror fans, mark your calendars. Publisher PQube and developer Dual Effect have set October 23, 2025 as the release date for Tormented Souls 2, revealed with a new gameplay trailer at the Future Games Show during Gamescom 2025. It arrives on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic and GOG.

You step back into Caroline Walker’s shoes as she hunts for her sister Anna, dragged into a mysterious affliction after the first game’s horrors at Wildberger Hospital. This time the dread moves to Puerto Miller and the Villa Hess, with visits to a shadowy convent and an abandoned school. Expect environmental puzzles, makeshift weapons and reality-bending mechanics that change paths and fate.

A demo is already out on PC and consoles, so you can test the terror early. My take? It looks like a faithful, retro-tinged survival horror sequel with modern touches—exactly what many fans wanted, though a few design surprises would be welcome.

If you like slow-burn scares and tense exploration, this might be your October pick. Share your thoughts below and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more updates. Will you brave Villa Hess and uncover the truth? Tell us.
