Are you looking for The Little Nightmares 3 release date? The series’ first dip into cooperative play is definitely an exciting prospect that will have many fans pairing up to take on grotesque monsters. While originally planned for 2024, the game was eventually delayed to this year, and its release is finally here. It is kind of a relief, even if that wait felt a little endless.
When Is Little Nightmares 3 Coming Out?
Little Nightmares 3 is set to release on October 10 on PC, Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox One & Series X|S. Unless there’s a serious last-minute problem, you should fully expect it to stick to this date. We’re close enough now that the game feels polished. Unfortunately, Little Nightmares 3 isn’t alone on October 10. Battlefield 6 drops the same day. Does that mean Little Nightmares 3 will get overshadowed? Maybe not in sales, but standing out will require you and your friends to spread the word.
The Shift to Co-op
I’ll be honest, the first two Little Nightmares games had me biting my nails in solitary fear. Working through shadowy corridors alone was a thrill, sure, but pairing up? That’s uncharted territory. You might find yourself coordinating every move, or, let’s be real, pointing fingers when things go sideways. But that’s the beauty—uncertainty, collaboration.
Most digital stores let you pre-load days in advance, so take advantage to entirely avoid downtime at launch.
Start Times: When You Can Jump In
According to the PlayStation Store, Little Nightmares 3 unlocks at 12 AM ET on October 10. Unless Bandai Namco or Supermassive Games announce otherwise, that’s your signal to boot it up. Here are the expected release times across major zones:
Time Zone | Little Nightmares 3 Start Time |
Pacific Time (PT) | 9:00 PM—October 9 |
Central Time (CT) | 11:00 PM—October 9 |
Eastern Time (ET) | 12:00 AM—October 10 |
British Summer Time (BST) | 5:00 AM—October 10 |
Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) | 4:00 PM—October 10 |
If the PlayStation Store’s clock is right, digital pre-orders get midnight access. It’s a smooth move if you hate waiting. Physical copies? You’ll probably end up waiting until doors open the next day. Not ideal when you’re itching to play.
Excited yet? Trust me, you’ll need a strong coffee for that midnight launch. Let me know your plans: will you dive in solo? Or grab a friend and brave the nightmares together?
