Daredevil & Angela Join Marvel Rivals Season 4—And Things Get Wild

NetEase Games just dropped a trailer that’s equal parts hype and pec tension: Season Four of Marvel Rivals, subtitled The Heart of the Dragon, brings two new combatants—Angela and Daredevil—into the fray. And yes, Angela’s lats are so defined that they’re a character in their own right.

Season Four’s cinematic opener teases a lot without spelling out the mechanics. Angela stomps into the Heart of Heaven demanding Hela’s head—literal and figurative. Daredevil, meanwhile, channels a bizarre Super Saiyan glow that leaves me wondering: is this Matt Murdock channelling chi or just dramatically overcaffeinated? Either way, I’m here for it.

A Tale of Celestial Drama

The trailer’s lore dump is deliciously over-the-top:

• The Timestream Entanglement has fused the Seven Capitals into the Heart of Heaven.
• Hela sits imprisoned, challenged by Dizang—the Devil of the Eighth City—to atone.
• Angela arrives demanding revenge; its guardian won’t budge.
• Meanwhile Doctor Doom lurks, eyeing the Chronal Chi of Shou-Lao.

There’s a lot happening. It reads like a mythic fever dream—one I absolutely want to dive into.

Hands-On Hunches

We know nothing concrete about their kits yet, but let’s hazard some guesses:

1. Angela feels like a Vanguard-class bruiser—her trailer physique speaks volumes.
2. Daredevil might blend stealth and chi-based bursts. Him glowing gold suggests he’s more than just a blind brawler.

Am I projecting too much? Sure. But guesswork is half the fun.

Angela’s Unexpected Journey

If you haven’t tracked her comic-book history, Angela started life in Todd McFarlane’s Spawn universe back in 1993. A legal tangle sent her flying into Marvel’s arms in 2013—and now she’s Thor’s sister. It’s a twist so wild it practically screams “season finale cliffhanger.”

Daredevil, the Man Without Fear, is no stranger to gritty showdowns, but I’m curious if NetEase will honor his noir roots or slap him into a bright, neon-splashed arena.
