Football Manager
Having written recently about Football Manager 2015, which is in its beta stage right now, but close to full launch, I have received a bunch of e-mails from people asking me how to see the full player’s name in FM 2015 and initially I didn’t understand what this is all about.
Our reader Mihaly wrote us: “How do I get to see the full names of the players? The game is unplayable right now, I only see the second name and I can’t understand what player is talked about. How do I fix?”
I thought that it was a bug that Mihaly had, but after doing some research online, it appears that it’s a widespread problem in Football Manager 2015 and indeed many people are complaining that they can’t see the full name of the player, just the first or second name.
So I’ve done a bit more research and it appears that this problem is caused by the fact that the copies that are played on are pirated. This means that if you have illegally downloaded your Football Manager 2015 copy, the game will not show the full name of the players and just their surname. No person who owns the original game has reported this problem, as far as we know.
It’s not a big surprise to hear that developers take action to discourage piracy of their titles. During the past years, a pirated Football Manager copy wouldn’t allow you to go on holiday, a penalty less important than this year’s where not being able to see the full name of the player makes Football Manager 2015 almost impossible to play.
So unfortunately, if you are experiencing this problem and you can’t see the full player’s name in Football Manager 2015, it’s most likely because you are using a pirated version of the game and there’s nothing you can do to fix it. Not unless you want to pay for the game and fully enjoy it!
