The best fighting games players from around the world gathered this weekend at Las Vegas to duke it out at EVO 2015, the largest tournament of the genre. At the event, Capcom brought us new announcements for its upcoming game Street Fighter V. First of all we got an entirely new character called Necalli. (picture above)
The fighter that will compete against Dee Jay for the coolest character that wear dreads in games ever seems to use a really offensive grappler style. His move set appears to mix Wolverine from Marvel vs. Capcom series but also appears like SNK’s Iori Yagami Orochi from King of Fighters’ 97. Please check his reveal trailer below:
Even more important than a new character, Capcom revealed its new policy regarding additional content after game’s release. Instead of launching new expanded versions like Super and Ultra Street Fighter IV, new content will be directly available for purchase in the main edition. However, if you don’t feel like emptying your piggy bank in order to buy the new characters, you will be able to add them to your collection just by playing and dedicating yourself.
Elite Dangerous developer, Frontier Developments, wants to make sure that their game will get an absolute spot-on simulation of how Pluto and its moon Charon will look in 3301. This was stated in the latest news letter released by the developer.
Pluto will have experienced exactly “five more orbits and five more heating/cooling cycles between today and the era of Elite: Dangerous,” so the developer is stating that they are taking into consideration NASA’s latest images of Pluto and its moon through their New Horizons probe.
“The pictures reveal the way Pluto’s various ices have melted and reformed, likely due to tidal heating from gravitational interaction with Charon. “The statement reads. “[This} which means around five more orbits and five more heating/cooling cycles between today and the era of Elite: Dangerous,”
“It’s possible the renewed surface [the heart-shaped spot on Pluto] could spread to cover the entire body by 3301.”
Assistant Art Director Jon Bottone said they try their best to simulate the actual thing by reading real world statistics and images and try to predict and simulate the planet or moon’s condition in 3301. Although for the Earth and the other near planets and moons’, the developer uses “real height map data.”
“We use real world data whenever it’s available to make objects as real as we can make them,” says Bottone. “With a few exceptions, the surfaces you see are derived from the custom simulation based on things like the distance from the star and Newton’s second law”
“In the case of Earth and our terraformed Mars, we’ve used real height map data, simulated the levels of the oceans and added life to the surface in order to make the geography as accurate as we can make it. Those height maps are invaluable to making familiar planets look real, and if NASA is able to release that data for Pluto and Charon – or any other planetary body –we should be able to incorporate that in the future too.”
Elite Dangerous will launch later this year for Xbox One and PS4.

Fallout 4 is becoming one of the most promising and anticipated games of the year and Bethesda is fueling the hype train. In a recent interview conducted by The Telegraph with Director Todd Howard, he revealed that both actors Courtenay Taylor and Brian T. Delaney recorded more than 13,000 lines of dialogue each for Fallout 4 in the course of the 2 years the game has been in development.
“A lot of games have voiced characters, but what they don’t want to give up is all the dialogue options,” Howard said “So for us a lot of it was logistical. The voice actors have been recording for 2 years, they’ve each done over 13,000 lines of dialogue. So to be able to do that makes the difference; you still have choice.”
Also since the game allows you to play as either a male or female so Bethesda also changed how the other characters interact with you and the dialogue change accordingly.
“We were lucky to find two great voice actors. And it’s interesting because she may read things or act things differently than he does. So scenes play out differently depending on whether you are playing the game as male or female.”
Fallout 4 launches on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 10th, 2015.

Rock Band 4 is a 2015 music video game developed and published by Harmonix. Rock Band 4 allows players to simulate the playing of music across many different decades and genres using instrument controllers that mimic playing lead and bass guitar, drums, and vocals. As the fourth main installment and the 7th major console installment in the Rock Band franchise, it was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 6, 2015. Mad Catz, who also developed new instrument controllers for the game, marketed and distributed the title worldwide at launch; Performance Designed Products (PDP) took over manufacturing and distribution by the end of 2016. The game shipped with more than sixty licensed songs; additional songs are available as downloadable content, which includes a library of over 2000 existing songs from prior installments.
This music video game represented Harmonix’s return to the franchise after an almost three-year hiatus, following the diminishing popularity of the rhythm game market that started in 2009. Announced on March 5, 2015, Rock Band 4 refocuses on the core gameplay of the franchise, reducing the emphasis on musical instruction that was employed by its predecessor, Rock Band 3 while emphasizing the game’s social interactions, as well as new features enabling players to incorporate improvisation into their performance—such as “freestyle solos” on guitar, and “freeform melodies” on multi-part vocals. source: Wikipedia

Hello Games, the developers behind the much acclaimed space exploration No Man’s Sky, has very recently shared some new details regarding the game’s economy and trading systems.
In an interview with IGN, Managing Director Sean Murray revealed that the trading and crafting in the game will merely be the “player’s choice” and how they won’t have an actual impact with the game’s economy.
He also revealed how players can make an actual profit, which is by going into a planet, collect some crafting material, crafting something, and then sell that mentioned object in a spaceport.
The crafting system is very similar to the one that Minecraft has, as Sean Murray stated that Hello games won’t be revealing the crafting formulas, therefore meaning that players will have to discover by themselves.
Murray also announced that there will be a free-market economy in the game, for other words, each space station has its own prices, meaning that you should always research every facility before buying something.
The economy of the game won’t need players involvements, as No Man’s Sky will have AI-controlled NPCs, who will travel between planets and spaceports, bringing material up to be sold and traded. They will also bring some items to the other systems that will be located in the player’s spaceships.
This game is due to be released later this year for the PS4 and PC.
The eighth character in Street Fighter V was confirmed. But don’t expect to see him in his usual red gi, as the character gained a new wardrobe. Although his special moves will still be the same as Ryu’s, their presentation will be most different, especially the Tatsumaki Senpuu-Kyaku move. As we can see on its reveal trailer below, you will be able to use diagonal-based Tatsumakis, for example.
He also seems to be faster and even more aggressive than his Ultra Street Fighter IV version. Aesthetically, his clothes have a more Western look and he seems to have adopted his long hair once again.
Also, his Asian heritage (his mother was Japanese) is easier to detect than in previous games, where he would be easily recognized as an American. Another character is teased at the end of the trailer. His identity is still unknown and most of the players are guessing Akuma will be the next reveal. In my opinion, the character in question is E. Honda, not Akuma. Unless Akuma decided to use face paint as well.
Street Fighter V have seven characters confirmed: Ryu, Chun Li, Charlie, M. Bison, Cammy, Birdie and Ken. Earlier this week, creator Yoshinori Ono sent a video to Brazilian fans confirming a Brazilian stage and announced his visit to Brazil in October, which he will reveal another character, strongly hinted to be Blanka, the electrical green beast. Street Fighter V will be released on Spring 2016 on Playstation 4 and PC.
We all know No Man’s Sky, developed and published by Hello Games’, and how it surprises us every showing with brand new footage and worlds to explore since the game’s world is procedurally generated thus you will never explore it fully.
Hello Games’ Sean Murray was featured on The Guardian ( Via: VG24/7 ), talking about how No Man’s Sky can’t be exposed to leaks or footage uploaded on YouTube no matter how many you watch of them, you will get your own unspoiled and unique experience of the game.
“In this era in which footage of every game is recorded and uploaded to YouTube, we wanted a game where, even if you watched every video, it still wouldn’t be spoiled for you,” he said.
“And we wanted those discoveries to be meaningful in the sense that they could be shared with other players, all of whom existed in the exact same universe, rather than inside their own random dimension.”
Sean also states that every official posted footage of the game, was played by him so this is even more proof that no two players will experience No Man’s Sky in the same way.
“Every time you see No Man’s Sky, it’s literally me playing, wearing headphones, trying to film things that go well with the music,” Murray said. “It’s the most genuine way in which we can show the game.”
No Man’s Sky is currently set to release on PC and PS4 with no release date announced yet.
